CHAIRMAN’S Message and histroy
The foundation of BMO Company is deeply rooted in long-term experience and a strong belief in perseverance. My journey in the mineral oil industry began in 2005, inspired by my father’s active involvement in the sector. Observing his work from an early age sparked my curiosity and ambition to pursue a career in this field.
Between 2016 and 2018, I gained hands-on experience by working directly within the industry. In mid-2018, alongside my father’s guidance and expertise, I began the process of establishing my own company, which later became BMO Company. From the very beginning, our focus has been on the import and export of high-quality mineral oil products, offering a wide range of brands and product lines tailored to the needs of the Iraqi market.
Today, BMO Company operates through an extensive dealer network across Iraq, positioning us among the leading companies in the sector. Our main operational center is located in Zakho, with a closed-area facility of 2,500 square meters, supported by a 2,000-square-meter warehouse in Erbil, in addition to several other branches. We also maintain strong commercial relationships with international partners, particularly in Turkey and Azerbaijan.
Every successful company faces challenges in its early stages. However, perseverance, discipline, and belief in long-term goals transform challenges into milestones. I started this journey at the age of 20, learning invaluable lessons from my father’s experience and mentorship. This foundation continues to shape our company’s values and strategic direction.
I firmly believe that Iraq is a country rich in opportunities, natural resources, and growth potential. While the market has traditionally been consumption-driven, there is significant untapped potential for producers, particularly in the engine oil sector, which holds a substantial share of the national economy. Recognizing this opportunity, BMO Company has adopted an ambitious growth strategy aimed at expanding its market share and strengthening its position as a trusted partner in the industry.
