In early 2018, Mr. Taha Tariq Taha, an expert in the engine oil sector, and his son, Botan Taha Tariq, founded BMO under the name Botan Motor Oil. This company entered Iraq’s energy sector by combining experience and young blood. The company quickly expanded its operations, changed its name from Botan Motor Oil, and registered as an official firm. To comply with trade law and international standards, the company’s name was shortened to BMO COMPANY. The company’s ambitious journey began in 2018 as an engine oil distributor in Zakho town. During this short period of time, we built strong and long relationships with giant Turkish and international engine oil producers and distributors. We extended our operations to encompass major cities across all of Iraq, including Duhok, Erbil, Sulaymaniyah, Kerkuk, Mosul, Salah Aldin, Hillah, El Nasiriyah, Baghdad, and others, with the goal of eventually covering the entire country. As a young and ambitious company, we quickly established a foundation that earned the trust of our partners and customers, and we succeeded in doing so. With the cooperation of our partners, suppliers, and customers, we can grow into a company that will be operating throughout Iraq. BMO has had agreements with Turkish companies. These agreements allow them to supply us with various engine oil products that meet high quality and internationally accepted standards. Having huge warehouses allows BMO to receive bulk quantities of these products and distribute them in the best way of delivery to customers.
